Matcha

Matcha tea embodies an ancient Japanese tea-making tradition and offers a unique tasting experience. It is carefully made from shade-grown green tea leaves. Before harvest, the tea bushes are shaded with cloths, enhancing the leaves’ umami and natural sweetness, deepening their bright green color, and reducing bitterness. After harvesting, the leaves are steamed and dried without rolling, producing tenchtea, which is then ground into a fine powder — matcha.
